Description
Kenyan Grilled Chicken marinated in Melvins Herbal Seasoning and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
  • 1 whole chicken (cut into pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon Melvins Herbal Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (dhania)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the Melvins Herbal Seasoning, olive oil, lemon juice, cilantro, parsley, red onion, green onion, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  6. Grill the chicken pieces for 10-12 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  7. Serve the chicken hot with your favorite sides.
