Description
Kenyan Grilled Chicken marinated in Melvins Herbal Seasoning and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
1 whole chicken (cut into pieces)
1tablespoon Melvins Herbal Seasoning
1/2cup olive oil
1/4cup lemon juice
1/4cup chopped fresh cilantro (dhania)
1/4cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4cup chopped red onion
1/4cup chopped green onion
1tablespoon garlic powder
1tablespoon ground cumin
1tablespoon paprika
1teaspoon salt
1/2teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the Melvins Herbal Seasoning, olive oil, lemon juice, cilantro, parsley, red onion, green onion, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and discard the marinade.
Grill the chicken pieces for 10-12 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
Serve the chicken hot with your favorite sides.
